gnuplotは関数のグラフや実験データのプロット図を描くことができる強力なツールです。 この文書は，四年制大学における情報系学科の学生(2年次程度)がgnuplotを扱えるようになることを目的としています。 従って，それほど難しい内容は扱っておらず，gnuplotの使い方を平易に説明してあります。
本文は「1. 関数のグラフ」と「2. データのプロット」に大きく分けていますが， 上から順番に読んでいくことを想定しています。
gnuplotのバージョンは3.7.3を想定しています。
